Putting your legal knowledge into practice
CLD Assessment
You can choose to either graduate the Diploma by writing a client memorandum on your chosen subject-area from the course, or to take a Certificate of Attendance without completing any written work at all.
Certificate of Attendance or Diploma in Commercial Law
If you do not complete any written work at the end of the CLD course, you will be entitled to a Certificate of Attendance.
If you wish to graduate with the Diploma in Commercial Law, issued by Juris Angliae Scientia, you must complete one piece of written work at the end of the course.
You will choose which topic area you prefer to write on, and then prepare a client memorandum advising your client on a commercial issue concerning your chosen area of law.
You will have approx. 1 month to prepare the written work.

Guidelines for Writing the Client Memorandum
We will help you to prepare for writing the memorandum, during practical workshops that take place throughout the course and by providing you with written and video guidance on how to prepare a memorandum.
